My husband and I adopted "Stormy" last year from the shelter after buying our first home.  We both said our first order of business after buying a house was to get a dog.  We searched your website for several weeks and visited several dogs.  The day we met "Stormy" we knew she was for us.  "Stormy" is now known as Rayne, she is a blessing to our home and we love her very much, she also has an adoptive baby brother, they get along great. 

Rayne is a labrador/pitbull mix and Tun(Rayne's brother) is a full pitbull.  They are the best dogs I have ever known.  I love taking them out in public and seeing the peoples faces when I tell them they are pitbulls, "but they too sweet to be pits".  Our dogs are proof that it is all in how you raise and treat your animal that determines their disposition, not their breed.
