Dear Dr. Mary, 

My new name is Motley and I was just adopted from your shelter.  A nice lady was fostering me and contacted a family who had seen my picture and was interested in me.   I didn't really have a name and had been tied out most of my life.  My owners surrendered me to Animal Care & Control.  I was very sad, but now things are really looking up!  I have a name, I have a warm home and good food.  I have people and a dog and some cats to play with!  I even have my own toys!  I am even learning new and exciting things like, "sit," "come," and "go do your business."  (I known that one the best!)
