Juno

I adopted Juno on 11/19/08.  I renamed her Boo. I guess she was a bit of a nightmare, as she'd been in the pound for months, and had been adopted once and returned.  She was definitely a handful.

The first day was not a good beginning.  She hated our other 2 little dogs and was determined to cause them bodily harm. It was a rough couple of days.

She was obviously a sweet girl, though, as long as no other dogs dared to cross her path.  Anyway, I started working with her and giving her guidance. It's 3 months later and she is a different dog.

Anyway, Boo has a great life. She goes to the park everyday and chases her ball til she drops. Then she rests and chases it some more.  She is the best fetcher I've ever seen.  She learns things like hand signals and verbal commands within 5 minutes.  She's an amazing dog and I am crazy about her. She sleeps on my bed and goes most places with me in the car since she's perfectly content sitting in the backseat and watching the world go by.
I also wanted to thank everyone who took care of her while she was at animal control.  I heard that a lot of people knew her and loved her, so that's really my main reason for writing.  I know there's no shortage of sad stories at animal control so I wanted to share a happy one with you.
