Volunteer Training
Volunteers are required to participate in a one-day training program. Topics covered will include airport security information, customer service training and an overview of the airport and facility.
Volunteer Program Theme
CLT's Volunteer Program is themed around racing, one of the City's most popular tourist attractions.  Volunteers are outfitted in teal and black, NASACR-style pit crew shirts that read "Flag Me Down For Airport Information" on the back. Additionally, the program has been deemed the "CLT Pit Crew." Perhaps a customer needs to "refuel," the volunteer can direct them to the nearest Starbucks. Maybe a customer needs to make a "pit-stop," the volunteer can direct them to the nearest restroom.
