Well-paved streets with lighting, safe and accessible sidewalks, bicycle lanes, neighborhood traffic programs and efficient intersections are examples of how CDOT is "Connecting Charlotte." 

Charlotte is expected to continue to grow over the next 25 years.  CDOT carefully considers challenges and opportunities when planning future transportation infrastructure improvements.
