Want to Volunteer at the Beaujolais Festival?

The Charlotte International Cabinet is looking for volunteers to be a part of this year's exciting release of the Beaujolais Nouveau on November 18th.  As a volunteer, you will be responsible for a shift in either registration, sales, or wine.  You will also receive the discounted ticket price of $20 so that you may enjoy the flavors and culture of France before or after your shift.  


If you are interested in being a part of this historic event, please contact Laura Rowland at cic@charlottenc.gov with your shift selection. Please indicate if you have more than one shift preference, or if you would like to work multiple shifts. The CIC will make every effort to accommodate requests for assignment, but space is limited so sign up today!

Registration and Check In:

Volunteers will be responsible for Volunteer Checking in Beaujolais Festival Guestsregistering attendees, accepting and processing payments, checking in other volunteers, and distributing wine glasses to guests.  This position is suitable for those who are organized as well as friendly.  

  
Wine:
Volunteer pouring wine
Volunteers will pour one of several different wines for attendees.  This position is great for those that are energetic and enjoy talking to people. 
Sales:

Volunteers will be in charge of selling raffle Enjoying Beaujolaistickets to guests for some fabulous prizes.  They will be responsible for handling payments and making change when necessary.  This position is perfect for outgoing and enthusiastic individuals.  

In addition to the raffle, there will be a silent auction where volunteers will manage and supervise tables and assist guests in making bids.
