Manager of Public & Community Relations
If you are a member of the working press and need to reach the CATS on-call weekend media representative, dial 980-722-0311. This number is to be used for breaking news only.
All requests for interviews with CATS employees should be made to the Manager of Public & Community Relations Office at 704-432-0496. We will try to provide a representative who can best address the topic of the interview.
We welcome you to observe meetings of our Metropolitan Transit Commission (MTC) and several of our other committee meetings that are open to the public. You may film and/or record these meetings. We will gladly assist you with placement of cameras and microphones as needed. Public meetings are listed on this website.
We've tried to design the site with news media in mind. Let us know
